Hello,
Issue: out of unit CES missionaries would like their names and information appear in the normal ward directory listings. Currently they appear under the missionaries page. Is there a way to do this?
Searched, but couldn't find a specific topic on this.
Thanks,

Re: Out of unit CES missionaries directory question...
If they're assigned specifically to your ward for their mission, you can create an out-of-unit membership record for them in Leader and Clerk Resources, and assign them to a standard calling (such as ward missionary). Then they will show up everywhere as if they're a member of the ward.
If they're assigned specifically to your stake for their mission, one of your stake clerks can do the same in the stake-level Leader and Clerk Resources.
If their area is bigger – they're not assigned only to your ward or stake – then there's no standard way for them to be entered other than through their mission office, which puts them in the missionaries section of the directory.

Re: Out of unit CES missionaries directory question...
Our CES missionaries are usually called to be YSA advisors since that more closely aligns with what they do.
Just remember after they leave to delete the OOU record. We had our last set still showing up in our ward for several months after they left since it doesn't automatically disappear.
