Delete a Sibling that was not entered correctly

I am new in my calling as a ward clerk membership. I made a mistake entering a child twice with different names. I would like to delete the record for record number- I did find some instruction that said to go to Member Information screen, click on ACTION THEN CLICK ON CANCEL RECORD. But I don't get the option to cancel record.

Need some help.

You found the procedure for cancelling the record for a child of record who is 18 years or older and has not been baptized. The Cancel Record option is only available for records where that is true.

What you need is to merge duplicate records. In LCR, select Membership > Merge Duplicate Records from the menu, select the two records, click Merge Records and then follow the prompts.
