A ward clerk recorded a death date incorrectly (it was actually the next day). The record is gone so there is no way to correct it on mls. What is the procedure to correct the record?

You can try sending a Special Request but it's possible that the change just needs to be made in Family Search at this point.

Send a special request or contact the service center to have them correct it.
