Member Records Move Automatically after Boundary Change?

The same way the records are moved for anyone else. It would probably be best to let the old ward move the record as they can use the boundary realignment tool to avoid having to re-enter the address and contact information.

Now, if you're talking about the financial responsibility, that's completely different. You need to contact the missionary department and arrange for an effective transfer date so no one is left with a surplus or deficit.
