Divorce issues

I recorded a members divorce last November. My Bishop tried submitting a cancellation of Sealing from Spouse on MLS and it said that his record showed no information on a divorce. I checked his membership record and it shows no information of his prior spouse except for a notation that he is still sealed to prior spouse. How can MLS say that there is no divorce information when the members record has no information of his prior spouse in it? What's the fix?

You can try doing a Unit Data Refresh to make sure MLS is in sync with the main CHQ database. If that doesn't help then you're going to have to contact Local Unit Support. They should be able to see information on the prior spouse and the marriage termination.
