Child showing up under household, but not children

For a family in my ward, there is a son showing up under the household of the correct family, but he is under the "Other members" category as opposed to the "Children" category. How can I fix this? Thanks for your help.

Unless something has changed, there's only "spouse" and "other" in households.

Edit: it has changed. Check the linkage between the "other" and the Head of House on the individual records. The member is being classified as "other" because the computer is not recognizing the parent/child relationship. There could be valid reasons for doing that. Perhaps the child is a child of a prior marriage and has not been legally adopted by the new father.

I could also see issues of the HoH is a non-member.
