Re: error report for membership record audit report
The marriage is recorded incorrectly on the spouse's record. If you look at the member's marriage information, it has the spouse's name and member record number. If you look at the spouse's marriage information, it has the spouse's spouse's name (the member you are concerned with) but no other information. It is not properly linked to the member record.
Follow these steps to correct this:
* Go to the member's record (the one with the error) and copy down the member's birth date, membership record number, marriage date, and marriage place
* Go to the spouse's record and select the "Current Spouse" tab
* Click the "Edit" link to edit the current spouse
* Enter the member's birth date
* Click the "Yes" radio button for "Is a Member?"
* Enter the member's record number
* Enter the marriage date and marriage place
* Save the changes
* Press the Cancel button on the Household Member Destination dialog
* Press the Save button on the Suggested Name Change dialog
Moderators: This probably ought to be moved from the LCR forum to the MLS forum.
