Waiting for divorce
We have a middle aged couple that were only married for several months before deciding to divorce. Meanwhile the wife has moved back to her home ward in another state. Is it acceptable to move her record out to that ward before being able to actually record the divorce on their records so her home ward? Thoughts?

I don't see a problem. You still have his records. I'd think that once the divorce is recorded, it affects both records - regardless of where they are.
If you're concerned about sending records that shows she's married, you could send a note to the new ward indicating the situation. Perhaps by using the "contact bishop" feature.
