Create a local record that stays in the ward

We have created special records in the past that live in the local MLS allowing for local access to their information without it going to HQ, such as full time missionaries living in the ward. I know we used to do it last time I was WC, before windows. Any one know how?

I think you're thinking of a out-of-unit leader.

Note that FT missionaries have access to the directory when the mission office assigns them to the ward. The ward doesn't have to do anything.
Have you searched the Wiki?
