Reprint Blessing or Ordinance Certificates

#1

Post by jacobkrebs »

A family just moved into the ward that had blessed their new baby in their previous ward. I see that the record has been created for the baby but the family did not receive a blessing certificate. I know that I can print a new certificate but if I remember correctly it should not be signed by the Bishop as it was not performed in our ward. Is this correct? Does this also apply to baptism and priesthood ordinations? I cannot find where I read this before. I think it was on the old wiki site or the training videos.

You could print and send the certificate in the mail to the bishop or clerk for the signature you need and have them send it back...
