Removing a member from a household

Somehow a single sister was added to a family in our ward as a household member. She is not a member of this household and has a different address, but the record is showing her as a member of the household listed as "Other". How can I remove her from that family and put her record back to having her as Head of Household?

In MLS, open the household where she is currently a member. On the Household Members tab find her name and click the Remove link in the right hand column. Select the 'Make a new household and assign the member as head' option and click OK. Fill out the contact information and address and then click Close.
