We have a fair number of children and youth that come to our ward every other Sunday. Their parents are divorced and their records are in a different ward. Is there some way we can create a record in our ward for them? We would like their names to show up on class rolls and we would like to add their pictures to our ward directory.

Their records should be in the ward where their permanent place of residence is.

Their name and picture can only be on the rolls and in the directory of their ward, the one where their permanent place of residence is.

Although it's true that the actual membership record must be in the ward of permanent residence, it is possible to create an out of unit record in the other ward. That won't allow a picture to show up, but it will allow these members to appear on class rolls.
