It won't break anything right now. But at some point there will be features on LDS.org that are specific to financial clerks, so if you simply change from AWC-F to AWC you run the risk of missing out on those features when they come out. Also, if you cease to be listed as AWC-F on the Directory's leadership listing, some ward members may have difficulty figuring out who is the financial clerk.aclawson wrote:Will switching to AWC from AWC-F break anything?
I have a similar situation at the stake level, and our stake chose to list me as both AWC and AWC-F.

To solve the issue of online applications access I have been entered into MLS with both the AWC and AWC-Finance positions. I was called as an assistant ward clerk with responsibilities for finance, technology, and to assist the ward clerk as needed. This necessitated the dual positions in MLS to grant access to sites and applications for these responsibilities. So far this has not created any problems either in access to sites and applications or for ward members using the online directory.
