I'm a new clerk, and I need to solve an issue that my bishop has been dealing with for a while.
Apparently, there was a person who was a child of record who was baptized in our ward as an adult, so it was a convert baptism. The problem is we never got his records when they were created after the convert baptism and confirmation. My bishop told me a couple days ago that he said he spoke with the membership department who told him that they sent the records to our unit(this is last week at the point he spoke with the membership department). Problem is, we still haven't seen those records show up. Is this something we need to be in contact with the church again about? And if so, how do I get a hold of the church membership department?

Re: Records Request Issue
Each Clerk office should have this information posted, but here is a good document.

Re: Records Request Issue
MLS maybe acting up. You might want to do a unit refresh. But print out your list of callings first.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Just a quick update: We were able to fix this issue this evening. Thanks for the input I got! This is a resource I had no idea existed.
