Last night I clicked on budget report and recieved "an error occured" message. I was able to look at all of the other financial information except for the budget report. It was working this past Sunday. Anyone else running into this issue?

We are seeing the same problem. It was not an issue prior to the 3.3.1 update.

I ran a budget report on MLS 3.3.1 last night with no issues.

Sometimes the "an error occurred" message can be fixed by doing a full installation of MLS; see Basic installation on the wiki.

I tried removing MLS, rebooting and reinstalling. It still did the same thing. I then called Salt Lake and they told me that it was a known bug and that the issue is being worked on. We just need to wait until it is resolved and an update is made available. Hopefully that is soon because we don't have any way to look at our budget status without it. If I recall correctly, we used to be able to look at the budget in the Income and Expense Reports, but now we can't.

I find it strange that a bug would only affect some units and not all. I guess it could be a bug if there are some very specific parameters that would have to be met. I do not have a problem. I can view the budget by clicking Budget Report in the Budget pane and I can view the budget summary by going to the Income and Expense report, select Summary by Sub-Category, and then click the command button Budget Report at the bottom of the screen.

It happened to us on Wednesday as well. The mlslog.txt file pointed to an error in the currency lookup table. I went in today to call support and there was a recording stating that a fix was available and that "two or three" send/receives would fix the problem. Sure enough, another patch came down and it did fix the budget report problem.

An update was released a few days ago that corrects this issue. Log into MLS and perform a Send/Receive and it should update your system.

The MLS support line has a message saying 3-4 send/receives may be required to apply the fix.
