Payee for Missionary Withdrawals

What I hope is just a simple question:
Who should the "Payee" be for the Missionary withdrawals?
A previous clerk set up "SLC" is this ok or should it be something else?

Thanks,
Jim

We use "Corporation of the President", which
I believe is mentioned in the training somewhere.

As long as the payee is consistent, I don't think it
makes too much difference.

"SLC" is clerk slang for Church Headquarters, so it's not a good choice; you'll never see that term used in any official documentation or training materials. I've seen "Church Headquarters" and "Corporation of the President"; I've even seen the missionary's name listed as a payee, but that seems incorrect. But it doesn't matter much. The money is coming from a Church account (the ward's account) and going to another Church account. As long as you have the correct subcategory, you can run any reports you will need.

Whatever makes sense to you should be fine. Then again, if you simply called the payee "Missionary Withdrawals" then I guess it would be clear to anyone.

I wonder how it will be recorded in the new CUBS system.

Just a guess. Probably the same way it is listed now on the Church Unit Financial Statement. With the missionary's name.
