Now that there are only a couple of weeks left in the year, all financial clerks may want to pay special attention to cleaning up various items in MLS.

Certain things cannot be completely removed from MLS until 3 or more years (depending on the record retention period in your country) after balances are set to zero and activity ceases for specific subcategories. So handling those items right away could save you another year of carrying along unused subcategories, donors, payees, etc.
