Security Deposit Refund
The Branch required the rental of a storage unit in the local area following the devastating hurricanes here in the Caribbean . Now we have canceled the contract and the vendor has returned the security deposit with a check. What category to we use to deposit the check on our records?

Assuming it came from Fast Offering, I'd "donate" it back to that from "Anonymous". It doesn't feel like a great solution, but it seems to be better than the alternatives.

You might deposit the refund in the same category as the original check was written. You should be able to do this even if it came out of the Budget category. It would be similar to a return on an advance from the branch budget.
