Foreign currency cheque

#1

Post by Hzoates »

Hi,

An overseas member wants to financially support a missionary and has sent a foreign currency cheque for this month. This member has stated that they would like to do so every month for the remainder of the missionary's service.

I spoke to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. It will cost AUD30.00 in fees and take 21 days for the cheque to clear.

The cheque is made payable to 'LDS Church'.

I have questions:

1) How do I go about presenting this cheque ?
2) What is the best solution for future deposits ? - international money order or similar ?
3) Has anybody dealt with this issue before ?

Regards,

I'd suggest calling support on Monday and see what they suggest.
