Miscellaneous donor can't be deleted

Miscellaneous donor can't be deleted
We have run into a situation where a deceased member of our ward is showing up on the miscellaneous donor list and we are not able to remove them or fix this. Any ideas?

Moved to Finance since this is a donor issue.
Typically you can't delete anything until the record retention period is past. For the US, that's 3 years plus current.
But you should be able to set it as inactive so it won't appear when you're trying to do donations.
