An out of unit member (missionary) was logged as a nonmember at time of donation(s). Can't merge with updated (member) donations.

You can try contacting Local Unit Support and see what they suggest.

One way to resolve the issue is first, to verify that you have the 'out of unit' Member Number. Go back into MLS / Finance/ Review and Edit Donations. Select the donation batch and date when the member entered the donation and was a non-member. Revise the individual donor to the correct one now that you have the Donor's Membership #. That will place the donation in the right place, show up on that Donor's year end report, etc. You will not have to worry about the merging process.
