Adding a new Budget Category...

I need to add a new subcategory to our Budget (i.e. parent). Do I go to view/edit Budget in MLS and then click on 'Add' and type in the new name and then 'Save'?

Close. It's actually in View/Update Categories. Make sure you first click on Budget (so MLS will know what the parent category is), then click Add and type in the new name. There is no Save button in this context; you just hit Enter after typing the new name.
Once you have added the new subcategory, you can go to View/Edit Budget to enter the budget allocation for that subcategory.
