We printed out all of the tithing settlement statements for each donor using the PDF provided. We have already had one member ask where all his online donations were on the statement. On his statement it listed both him and his wife. When we backtracked we found a separate statement under his wife's name having all of the online donations accounted for but this WAS NOT included in the statements we printed out. Can you tell me what went wrong?

It appears from the information you provided that the male member had donations submitted using his wife's membership account. Whether it was made by paper donation through MLS or online through the Donations application the missing donations were made under his wife's account.

When using the online Donations application there is an option in the Donations settings to include the spouse name in the reports. This does not mean the report is a combined donation account but rather just a way to include the spouse in the report. This was intended to show both names on a donations report when only one of the spouse's accounts is used to make donations. For this member it appears the setting in the Donations application was set to include his wife's name. Since you did not mention whether the wife had made donations using the online Donations application it is possible her report did not include his name because the option was not set to include his name even though some of his donations were made through her account.

If you used the single PDF document sent through MLS as the source for donations reports then that report will most likely be different from the report printed from Leader and Clerk Resources from the Finance > Tithing Settlement > Donor Statements menu. The MLS PDF file was valid through 7 October. In LCR the report is valid through current date if you use the "Generate Statement" and select the member's name.

I don't know why his wife's report was not included in the MLS PDF. Because that report is limited to donations made before 7 October I use the LCR report, to get the most up to date report and I can get a report for every member on the day they come in for settlement. I also used the LCR report to print the batch of reports given to each member before tithing settlement began. Try looking at the LCR report to see what you get.
