MLS - Transfer from budget to budget

Back in January 2016, in MLS I could transfer money from one budget to another in my own ward unit. Now, All I see are three budget categories (none of which I need to transfer from or to), the "Other" accounts, and the ward missionary accounts. How do I transfer from budget to budget within my own ward?

There is no need to actually transfer budget funds from one budget subcategory to another budget subcategory. In MLS use View/Edit Budget and manually reallocate the funds. While this may appear to be transferring budget funds it is just an allocation of the ward budget received into budget subcategories. At the bottom of the screen you can see how much of the ward budget has not been allocated among the budget subcategories. If you see "$0" remaining then all of the ward budget has been allocated. Allocating funds from the ward budget to subcategories is a manual process you do to internally track your ward budget.

If the missing budge sub-categories do not appear in View/Edit Budget then you will have to recreate them in Finance > Budget > Add/Update Categories.

You may have to do some investigating to find out how missing budget sub-categories were deleted or who deleted them. Without widespread reports similar to what is happening to you on the forum I suspect someone with finance or administrator rights in your ward deleted the sub-categories.
