how do you delete an other account

I was asked by the stake to delete an other account when I logged in after finding the other account and making them inactive but I could not delete.
You can't actually delete any subcategory in MLS if it has any transactions. But you can set its balance to 0 (by appropriate transfers, recategorizations, or check writing) and then make it inactive. Inactive categories don't show up in most places in MLS. Then you just wait for the record retention period (3 years plus current year in the US) on the last transaction to expire and then the category will be deleted by the system as you close the fiscal year.tylerburningham wrote:I was asked by the stake to delete an other account when I logged in after finding the other account and making them inactive but I could not delete.
