We have a sister who left our ward. Her records were forwarded to her present ward. She is requesting a copy of her tithing settlement record for 2014 but I am unable to pull this up. How should I handle this?

You should be able to print out the prior year donations to your ward. That's not the same as tithing settlement. Look for a menu option for tax receipt since that's what she needs.

Specifically select Finance > Finance Reports > Donor Statements from the menu, select 2014 as the Fiscal Year, select the appropriate Official Tax Statement in the Type of Report selection and also make sure that Show Donors is set to either All or 'Not members of this unit'. You should see her listed if she donated in your ward at any time during the year.

Here's a similar question.

There was recently a reorganization in our area where a new ward was created. One of the members of our former ward who is in the newly created Ward has requested a statement showing his year to date donations. When we going to the computer, because he records have already been moved to the new Ward, that information is not appear to be available.

Does this sound correct??

You should always be able to find the donations made to your ward. But some tithing settlement statements may not be available if they're not part of your ward. But unless there's been a big change, you should always be able to list the donations and create a tax receipt for the same. Only in certain situations will you be able to see donations made to other wards

I'd follow the directions given above.
