Stake clerk here. In November we split one ward into two and promptly moved all member records to the new ward. But for some reason, the tithing declaration report for the original ward still lists the members whose records were moved to the new ward back in November. I am going to be in their building this Sunday to take a look, but was hoping someone might have had this issue and might have a quick fix.

Did the membership records actually move to the new ward? Do they have them and are those members listed on their Annual Tithing Declaration Report?

It may have to do with tithing settlement beginning on 15 November. If the split occurred after that date then that is a possible reason why it happened this way. - Just a thought.mlh78 wrote:Stake clerk here. The membership records were in fact transferred - we verified this. The split occurred on Nov. 16th, so maybe that is what's causing this. I'll report back what we find.

Sounds like a you just have to declare those members as "out of unit". Humbug, but not a show stopper.
