You probably already found references to a 2009 General Conference talk by Elder Quentin L. Cook and perhaps also this Ensign article from March 2000. But I don't think that's what the auditor was talking about. I have a vague memory of old financial training materials on LDS.org which may have had titles like "A Sacred Trust". So I would say that you just need to review the current Record-Keeping and Technology Support Training materials and you'll have the lessons you need.
