MLS and Unit Financial Statement Other Mismatch

With CUBS, how is it that our Other account balance does not match our unit financial statement? Have we done something wrong, other than getting an audit finding to work out the problem?

2 possible causes:
1) You need to set the time period in MLS to match the financial statement.
MLS shows the most current data unless told otherwise, the Financial Statement
shows only data up until the end of the previous month.
2) Transactions were performed on the last day or days of the month in MLS and the
bank didn't process them until the next month, so the bank statement doesn't
include the last transaction(s) in a month, whereas MLS does.
