A missionary started her missionary application before the ward split. Her application still lists the old ward as the funding unit. The field does not apear to be editable in online application. How do we change this so that the funds come from our ward instead of the previous ward before the split?

Sounds like you'll have to make a call to the missionary department and have them change it. It can certainly be changed after the call is issued, so I don't see why they couldn't do it before.
