Unless something has changed, you'd have to contact that ward. Note that in the US, they wouldn't have records for anything prior to 2010. The system automatically purges the 4th year on Jan 1.
Try using a Google search by adding "site:tech.lds.org/wiki" to the search criteria.

Don't those records move with the membership records?
No financial records do not move with the membership records.
However, last year there was a report sent down in January through MLS that had donation information for all move ins within the last year. This was the first time this happened so if it was for last year the ward clerk may still have the report in MLS. The report was sent down as a message.
