Officers Sustained - two quorums

In preparation for our upcoming Ward Conference I have printed out the Officers Sustained form for the stake presidency. We have 2 Deacon quorums in our ward and only the 2nd Deacon's quorum is showing up on the list. Is there a way to add both quorums on the list?
Thanks,
Cam

Unfortunately the Officers Sustained Form built into MLS does not have this flexibility. I guess you'll just have to create an addendum and make a note on the main form to say "As presidency of the first quorum of deacons, ..." then read from the addendum "As presidency of the second quorum of deacons, ..."

Have you tried the online version in the leader application? I don't know if it handles it any better or not, but it may be worth a try.

Nice. Hadn't seen that before. I don't have two quorums of anything so I can't check the original question. But I have two other questions.

Can a stake officer get to one of the ward forms, or can we only access our stake?

And for the stake, since we are supposed to sustain high councilors in alphabetical order, can they be listed that way on the sustaining form? It would also be nice if they were listed alphabetically in CDOL.

I know, these computer programs. Thanks.

I seem to only have access to the stake form.

The online form lists the high council in alphabetical order by first name.

As best I can tell, the online form has not way of allowing the user to modify the names listed like the MLS one does.

Ask, and ye shall receive. (but you will still have to show some patience and wait until the next release. :))

Ah, hadn't noticed that.

The classic LUWS lets you reorder them. MLS seems to be listing them in the order they were entered into MLS. Or perhaps in the order they were called (which is usually the same).

Wow. Thanks. October for us. We had a satellite broadcast stake conference earlier this year. [grin]

Since MLS 3.2, MLS definitely does not order high councilors in the order in which they were called (see the MLS 3.2 release notes in Timeline of MLS on the wiki). They are sorted alphabetically by last name. You can't even click on the "Date Sustained" column header to sort them by that field, even if you wanted to.

I understand that MLS is supposed to do this, but on our installation it does not. Under 3.2 it put all of our high councilors in alphabetical order one time, but our two most recent high councilors were sustained and entered after we installed MLS 3.3.0 and MLS has not updated the order since they were entered. The list in the Officers Sustained--Stake does display correctly and alphabetically, but the data entry screen does not.

This is either a bug or is related to the database problems we are having that originated with MLS 3.3.0 and have not yet been solved.
