Our ward consists of two rural counties covering more than 1300 square miles. Most of our members are in very low density areas, many of which do not receive mail at their physical address. Most have mailing addresses (typically PO boxes) that have no connection to their physical addresses. We need the physical for home teaching, visiting teaching, and emergency contact purposes, and we need the mailing addresses for ward newsletters, holiday cards, and a wide variety of organization purposes. Neither MLS or LDS.org provides reporting that includes mailing address fields for which we really need visibility. While we would like to see wholesale expansion of MLS, LDS Tools, and LDS.org reporting and record display functionality to include this information, we would like to see custom reporting functionality expanded sooner (than later) to include these fields so that we can administer the needs of our ward more effectively.
