We have a lot of yw who were bless but have not been baptized. This is putting a strain on the ward budget because many of the girls attend the yw functions but are not counted in yw on Sunday because they are not a member. How do you compensate for this situation?

The Action and Interview List in MLS will include unbaptized members. Otherwise you can create a custom report of everyone 8 years and older that are not baptised.

Age - is or is grater than - 8
Confirmation Date - has no value.

But they are coming out. I'm sure there's a number of wards that would be happy to swap places with you.

Yes we are grateful they coming out and hope they feel the love of the Savior. The yw and ym leaders concern was tracking them and the cost of activities when no quarterly allowance is allocated for them. Also the Action and Interview List in MLS is a great report to understand where you need to focus your attention on.

If they attend sacrament meeting, then their attendance will at least contribute to that component of the ward budget, but not the extra activities budget. In the US, these dollar amounts are about the same, so at least you're getting about half of the regular budget amount. If your ward makes special budget provisions based on the extra activity amounts allocated for YM/YW (but most wards I'm familiar with don't), perhaps some adjustment could be made for these youth.
