Just a word of warning -- if your calling is simply changed from "Stake Assistant Clerk" to "Stake Assistant Clerk-Finance" you will lose a lot of permissions on LDS.org. The philosophy there seems to be that financial clerks have no assignments outside of finance; if your stake president wants you to take on other tasks that deal with other issues such as membership, you'll probably want to retain the "Stake Assistant Clerk" calling and have an additional calling of "Stake Assistant Clerk-Finance."

I'll keep that in mind as I ask for a change. In the clerk role I also do finances for a second MLS account (an area YW camp with it's own unit number) and it's nice to use CDOL to look up leaders addresses. I also serve as a ward website administrator in my home ward and it's nice to be able to look up member numbers so I can help people set up lds accounts.

As far as CDOL goes, both assistant clerk and assistant clerk - finance have the same rights.

As just assistant clerk I did not have access to LUFAS. Now as listed twice as "assistant clerk" and "assistant clerk - finance" I do
