Child becoming Head of House

#1

Post by johnshaw »

We have a family moving out of the ward and a single member of the family will stay here in the ward to finish her Senior Year of High School. I thought it would be simple enough to make that person a head of household, but I couldn't figure out how to accomplish this in MLS and figured it was common enough that it had been discussed on these boards, but I can't seem to find any information on how to perform this (what seems to me) simple operation. Anyone know how this is accomplished?

Please go into membership records, click on more, then go to "view/update"/ household record, find the parent record, click on the members of household, specifically the child that you wish to make the head of house.
Click on "remove" and then click on "make own head of house".
This will work every time!!!
