All sorted by local unit support, but for the record with the recent MLS update we can now fix this ourselves if its a ward in the same stake using Transfers.

Do you still need to notify the Church so that the unit responsible for the missionary changes? Otherwise, it would seem that the prior ward would continue to be charged and you would forever (well, 24 months) be transferring money from ward to ward.

Correct, it is the same situation if someone pays using internet banking, it gets assigned to Ward Missionary not the correct specific missionary, so in both cases all you can do if the individual wants to do it that way is to do a transfer for each, of a few each month.

So the best solution is to have the individual pay the slip the the ward supporting the missionary especially if its just down the road. :)
