Missionary Online Recommendation System logins not functioning

#1

Post by mprusse »

I'm seeing failure to login to the Missionary Online Recommendation System from two different browsers today. Anyone else having issues? I've tried both Safari and Firefox from a Mac. Thank you.

But it works fine for me with Firefox or Chrome or IE8.

An update: I have reports from a bishop and stake president that they cannot login. I wonder if it is a problem only for those who have submission privileges (I do not). But it does seem to be widespread.

Can't log in, either

I am a Branch President, and cannot log in today. A missionary candidate in my branch can log in just fine, so I assume it is a problem with leader accounts.

I'm a YSA Stake Clerk (out of unit member) and haven't been able to login all day. I've tried Safari and Firefox on Mac, and IE7 on Windows, tried three different networks, all with the same result: a return to the login screen with no login credentials, but no authentication error either. The Stake President and three bishops experience the same result.

I have noticed it being down today as well. I enter my login credentials and it looks like it's going to load, but then just loads a fresh login page. No login error message, no failed password warning, just a fresh page. If I enter an incorrect password, however, I do get an error message for that. I have tried logging in directly as well as navigating to the site through the lds.org/leader portal. Same error.
