Bishop Storehouse Website

I'm in the Boston area and we're considering creating a website for our Bishop Storehouse in Worcester, MA under the direction of our Stake President. Has anyone done something similar? Wouldn't it be nice to have it within the LDS.org realm?

The main purpose for doing this is for coordinating truck unloading, service, scheduling the canning service area and things like this.

Right now we're considering purchasing a domain name and hosting (not sure how we'll pay for it with the Church paying for it) and then using a Content Management System so the Storehouse missionaries can help have some control and management.

Thoughts anyone?
Thanks, Chris

I would begin by reviewing Handbook 2: 21.1.22 and then inviting the stake president, if he still feels up to it, to consult with the member of the Presidency of the Seventy who would be the one to authorize the website, if such an exception were to be granted.

And if it's granted, you may find that you are connected with resources that will make the job much easier at a price that's lower then what you could do on your own. The planners for our regional singles conference discovered that the hard way.
