2009 Tech Talk: Your Input Wanted

We are beginning to plan the 2009 LDSTech Online Tech Talk. For those of you who were able to participate in the event last year, you will remember that the Inaugural Online Tech Talk was a webcast. Joel Dehlin, the CIO of the ICS department, presented and held a question and answer session with participants. If you are new to LDSTech, weren't able to participate, or would like a refresher, you can listen to or view a recording of the eventhere.

We would like to brand the event with a tag line and we'd like your input!

An example include:

2009 LDSTech Online Tech Talk
For you. With you.

Just post your ideas here.

Thanks!

How about "Every member a developer." :)

Actually, probably more accurate: "Every geek member a Community developer."

I like that one.

It actually says a lot. In the early days you had to bring people to one physical place to "gather them" but technology these days ensure it can be done without moving people.

It will be interesting to know the role played by the social-technology into Church related fields. (Forget me, as Italian I'm used to spend many words for a simple idea).
For example. Is acceptable a "tele-home teaching"? If yes, in what case or wich is the "crisp edge" between acceptable and not accecptable? And so on.

You may have misunderstood the exact point of this thread. This wasn't intended to be a place to begin asking questions or suggesting topics for the future Tech Talk. It's actually just a brainstorm of slogans or catch phrases for the Tech Talk (McDanielCA used the phrase "tag line").

The common phrase in English is "fine line." However, I do like the sound of "crisp edge." That must be a direct translation from a common phrase in Italian? :)
