What are the guidelines to creating a ward newsletter

I was asked by my Biahop to create a ward newsletter. What are do's and dont's?

It depends in part on how it's going to be distributed. If it's on the web, then you'll have to abide by http://internet.lds.org

A quick scan also finds:
  • Do not use the Church logo/font.
  • In many countries it's illegal to place things in mailboxes (expect to mail them). So, newsletters should not be distributed by placing them in members' mailboxes.
Others may remember other restrictions.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Be careful not to include member information that could be considered sensitive – for example, I wouldn't recommend putting a list of birthdays on the newsletter – especially not specific ages or birth years.
