Also, creating userids based upon email addresses make it MUCH easier for hackers to obtain userids. A while back, much of CES changed to the "NetID" style of system now used by CES partly for the specific reason of not having userids that are similar to the person's email address.lajackson wrote:The challenge there, of course, is that e-mail addresses change.
