What do you do at the Church?
Answer
I am the portfolio analyst for the Human Resource and other operations portfolios within the Information and Communications Systems Department.
Question
What role do you think program management plays in the Church organization?
Answer
Program management acts as a liaison between ICS and other Church departments. We are able to build relationships with our customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to help them achieve their goals.
Question
How do you think program management is different at the Church?
Answer
At the Church, program management focuses on working collaboratively to create the right solutions for the benefit of the members and leaders of the Church worldwide. We look for guidance from the Brethren, who follow the Spirit, rather than a CEO or investors. This creates a completely different environment than a typical business.
Question
How do you feel about your job?
Answer
I love my job (really!). I have been given opportunities to learn and grow that I would not have in other organizations. The work is always changing and I am never bored! In fact, I learn something new every day.

What or who has been an inspiration to you in your work?
Answer
My inspiration comes from the teams I work with and the customers I support. I work with amazing people who motivate and inspire me on both spiritual and temporal levels.

What is your favorite part of working at the Church?
Answer
I don’t think I could choose just one aspect as a favorite. I love the environment at the Church. The people are wonderful, we have the opportunity to listen to General Authorities speak on occasion, and Temple Square is a beautiful place to work.
