Church Employment Opportunities site

Postby brentboylan-p40 » Sun Sep 30, 2007 5:08 pm

I am wondering what the difference is between the listings at LDS.org and the Church's intranet. The page on LDS.org instructs users who are current employees to use the intranet. The only problem with this is most Church employees do not have ready access to the intranet, having jobs that do not require computer use. It is rather awkward to ask your boss to use his computer to look for another job, not to mention that it is against policy to allow someone else to use your work computer. It used to be possible to log in from LDS.org using your Employee ID number. Anyway, something to think about.

I don't know if there is any difference. I just tried them both and they both point to what appears to be the same page.

Just at quick glance over time, I believe the pages are two different views into the database. Occasionally I have seen additional salary/wage information and specific recruiter contact information as opposed to a general contact email address and no salary/wage information.
