lds.org vs new.lds.org

When the new.lds.org calendar came out it was suggested that we still use the old lds.org site for the official stake and ward calendars for 2011. Now it seems to indicated that lds.org will be shut down at the end of this month and the new.lds.org will be replacing it. Will calendar information from lds.org automatically populate the new.lds.org calendars or will all of that information have to be re-entered manually?

The new.lds.org has a link to Stake and Ward Websites under the Tools menu. This gives you access to the old calendar and directory and will continue to be functional through 2011. According to the Calendar transition FAQ the recommendation is still to use the old calendar for 2011 calendaring.
I grant that it seems confusing to me that the new calendar is above the old one in the list of tools. Seems like it will cause confusion. Hopefully that's something that will be addressed when they move the new site to lds.org at the end of this month.
