I still use Firefox 2 and the new Move Media Player is very goofed up, although I can get it to work, sort of. The audio is fine, but the video does not display properly. It is distorted in one direction or the other, depending on the current download speed.

I have fired off several reports to the help desk, but they do not yet seem to grasp the problem. I keep getting parts of the help file spit back at me. I have read all of that information and it does not solve the problem. Using their online change settings page does not work, either.

I don't know what more I can do, except maybe trying to ask in French instead of English. [grin]

I tried to use FF3 with Move Media Player but mine installed the add-on/plugin fine, restarted FF and played without any problems so unfortunately the issue is not consistent. Sorry I couldnt help more.

Maybe reading the LOG file?
On my Suse I can see it (the console log I mean) pressing Cntrl+Alt+F10 keys.
I've not idea if this apply (console log I mean) into MS OSs.

There is a How to Listen page available from http://www.lds.org/broadcast.

But if by "media player" you mean the Move plugin, which is also refered to as the "NEW Media Player," you can find it at http://lds.org/move/ .

I install it successfully

At first, I met the error when installing.
I cleared Private Data and restart FF3.0 after uninstalling.
And re-installed the player, this time it was successful.

Hope it is helpful for you.

In prepartion for watching Conference via the internet I thought I better check my installation is fine etc so I turned to watch some of the R/S Conference with the new LDS Move Player.
I linked up the laptop to our LCD TV and I have to say that the picture quality was the best ever I have watched from the church. I assume it will be using surestream technology as its perfect for broadcasts with little movements but even so the technology of this must be even better now as I noticed the quality looked better.

It looks even better than SureStream, because it is not SureStream. Rather, it is technology from Move Networks. And I agree, it is impressive quality!
