In the last few days, I've experienced random problems as lds.org sites and get the message:

The website is temporarily down.

If it only happened once, I would have thought it's a minor glitch, but it's happened a few times on different days. This morning I've experienced the following:

• lds.org: usually works, but sometimes it doesn't
• lds.org/study-tools: working
• lds.org/maps: working
• lds.org/directory: sometimes it works
• lds.org/church-calendar: The website is temporarily down.
• lds.org/lesson: The website is temporarily down.
• lds.org/member-news: The website is temporarily down.
• lds.org/scriptures: working
• lds.org/general-conference: working
• lds.org/media-library: The website is temporarily down.
• lds.org/topics: working

I'm experiencing the same problem on IE11, FireFox, Chrome. I talked with someone last night who said he's noticed the problem the past 2 weeks. I get the same message using the clerk's computer, 2 home computers, tablet, and phone. I can log in via one of the working links mentioned above but get the same message clicking one of the links that don't.

I wasn't able to log in using chrome the past couple of days, but could log in using my android phone. I tried logging into my account this morning using Firefox 47.0 and it was successful.

How can I get lds.org working again, my sister really needs it today, and we tried everything?

I've run into a glitch a few time where I had to close the browser. You may have to close it completely (all windows and tabs). Then re-open it and all is well.

My guess is that something gets changed, but until the browser is closed, your session isn't updated.

Is the leadership section down right now (when we're trying to input home teaching?) The other sections seem to work.

Leader and Clerk Resources does appear to be down for me currently (3:55 PM MDT). Hopefully they get it back up soon.

There is an issue and there are engineers working on it.

As of right now I can't access it on the ward computer but I have no problems accessing via smartphone.

Every Sunday, at some point the site goes down....at least for a little while. I waste so much time every Sunday, trying to do my calling, waiting on the church website to come up. Something needs to be done about this. I feel for any of us who are still clerks when they finally stop using MLS completely.
