Help to create our new Stake Website with joomla

Soy el Especialista en Tecnologia de la Estaca de Hospitalet, en España. Mi Presidente de Estaca me ha pedido que cree una nueva web para la Estaca. He pensado crearla con Joomla, y ya tengo el dominio. He visto que existe un Template de la Iglesia, y me preguntaba como puedo conseguirlo para usarlo en nuestra web. De donde puedo descarlgarlo.

I am the Technology Specialist of the Hospitalet Stake, in Spain. My Stake President asked me to create a new website for the Stake. I've thought about creating it with Joomla, and I have the domain. I have seen that there is a LDS Template, and was wondering how I can get it to use on our website. Where can I download it?.

First, I would recommend that you show your stake president
Section 21.1.22 in Handbook 2, which says "Stake and ward Web sites may be created only by using the official Church Internet resources. Stakes and wards are not authorized to create other Web sites or blogs or otherwise have a Church-sponsored presence on the Internet." So it sounds to me like this effort is contrary to Church policy.
The Classic ward and stake websites (at wards.lds.org) are available for many stakes, but I don't think they are available in Spain. But a replacement for the Classic ward and stake websites is underway and should be available in the next several months. That replacement will be available worldwide. So if you can wait, there will be a way for your stake to have a website that is provided by the Church and thus complies with Church policy on stakes and wards having an Internet presence.
When will the new stake and web site resource be available?

8 months have no gone since you said that the new templates for stake and ward websites would be available. When will they be ready?

I believe the replacement for the classic website is lds.org and the new "tools" that allow you to use ward / stake specific new features such as the new directory and the new calendar. There are many more features available to leaders, and some more "tools" in development all the time.
