Redirect to ChurchOfJesusChrist.org logs you out

I've noticed that some links on the tech forum now redirect you to
https://tech.ChurchOfJesusChrist.org/forum. When it does that, your LDS Account authentication doesn't travel along, so you aren't logged in. I hope someone is aware of this and is working on a fix.

If you sign in using the lds domain you can still read the forum. But once you post or make any other changes, you are redirected to the new ChurchofJesusChrist domain. Your original sign in set a cookie for the lds domain that is not recognized by the ChurchofJesusChrist domain.
You can avoid this problem if you change your bookmark to Tech.ChurchofJesusChrist.org/forum. The other temporary option is to sign in again at the new domain and have both cookies working until you sign out or close your browser.

I'm pretty sure the long-term fix is to use ChurchofJesusChrist.org, or perhaps do a re-direct before logging in.

If I try logging in as
https://tech.ChurchOfJesusChrist.org/forum, the authentication doesn't carry over from being logged in to
https://lds.org. I guess a problem is that even if I go to
https://ChurchOfJesusChrist.org that I get redirected to
https://lds.org, whereas if I'm on the forum, it's not necessarily doing a redirect back to lds.org.
I confirmed that if I log in to
https://tech.ChurchOfJesusChrist.org/forum with my LDS account that it does let me log in. Maybe the problem will get solved whenever they stop redirecting to lds.org.

They just began making the changes a few days ago. A few tests were needed. Things will slow down because of general conference, and then I think you will see the change completed shortly thereafter. It is a very manual and labor-intensive process, and other areas still have a higher priority. But it will get sorted out soon enough.
