Any thought of using the same credentials for LDS.ORG for LDSTech.lds.org?

Other than that, is there a document or PPT that outlines the technologies used on LDSTech? It is a nice site and I assume that you used some OpenSource or otherwise publically available technologies.

We had discussed single sign on with lds.org at length. Without committing to anything here, we are leaning to making that a reality. However we thought that for now we should keep them separate because we did not want to exclude anyone from participating (even users who are not members of the Church) and also currently the process to get an lds.org account is a bit cumbersome. Sign on to lds.org gives you access to much more information than sign on to ldstech.
